THE Team

Ramon and Elba Roldan

Ramon and Elba have been serving in ministry for almost 50 years and have invested their lives into raising up leaders that are forerunners and mouthpieces for Christ.

  • They have two children, Katherin Gross and Esteban Roldan, but countless spiritual children that they have discipled and released into ministry. Ramon and Elba are pastors of Iglesia Sinai, where they have been loving people for twenty-eight years, and they are seen and respected as leaders in the community.

Ramon is arguably the best grill-master in Montevideo and Elba has the unique ability to see the gold in the unnoticed person and set them on the right path. Although their grandbabies live far from them in Tennessee, their greatest joy is being able to spend time with their “nietos”. Whether cooking pizza with little hands in the dough or playing lion and crawling around on their hands and knees, they are still young at heart. Their love for people is endless and it’s evident. Their lives are filled with counseling, comforting, encouraging, and celebrating those around them. Ramon and Elba are mother and father, grandma and grandpa, friends, confidants, and leaders in the Roldan Family, the Sinai Family, and the Family of God!

The roldan family

Esteban and Amy Roldan, along with their three world changers (Adonai, Judah, and Elian) are currently living in Columbia, Tennessee. They met each other and began their relationship thirteen years ago in Uruguay and are invested in seeing the nation of Uruguay reached with the Gospel.

  • Amy and Esteban serve as pastors at HopeUC Nashville in Thompsons Station, TN, where their family is bridging gaps that are created by diverse cultures, generations, and social statuses. They have a passion for expanding the kingdom of God, through business. During their down time you can find them around a table sharing a meal or sipping on coffee, usually with kiddos in tow. This family holds fast to the idea that church is so much more than a Sunday service, it’s a lifestyle of love.

THE GROSS FAMILY

Bart and Katherin have been married for twenty two years and their greatest joy is being the parents of three amazing daughters (Gianna, Mia, and Emma).  In 2005 their hearts were ignited for missions and the desire to see the next generation walk in their true identity.

  • This led them to found and direct a discipleship school for college-aged students in Montevideo, Uruguay. La Misión Uruguay was the launching grounds for countless youth stepping into ministry. They invested eight years loving sons and daughters and traveled all over the nation serving others.

They currently live in Chattanooga, Tennessee and serve as leaders in their local church, Redemption To The Nations. Their passion for the nation of Uruguay and their desire to start a movement is still beating strongly and God is calling them back, once again. They are passionate advocates and will see the next generation established and seated at the right tables, ignited by beloved identity, and possessing the keys of this nation’s greatest revival.

The PETERSEN family

Daniel and Niki and their children (Connor and Abby) love the Roldan family and all things Iglesia Sinai. The relationship started over fifteen years ago and is really just getting started.

  • From early on, they have been called to be a voice, a resource-finder, and an ambassador for this church and it has been a beautiful thing. Their family has reaped the impact of the way that Sinai loves people and the Petersen family has committed themselves to share the experience with as many people as possible. They have led numerous teams to minister alongside Sinai and are continuing to expand SInai’s reach in the city, by developing a modern day ministry concept that will bring the community to the doorstep of a church family. Daniel and Niki will be moving from Tennessee to Uruguay in the fall of 2025 to join hands with Iglesia Sinai to take the next steps to develop the 1Gol park project. God is on the move!
